    I thought I would treat myself and so I did. The grips are an exact fit ! Just make sure you use the screw that comes with them. Really dresses the gun up . Very pleased .

    ...the coins are so polished-down that their details are all but gone. Don't get me wrong as they sure help make the revolver stand out, but I wish I could upload photos to show what the coins look like. On the front the hair is flat as is much of the face, and the resulting profile almost looks like a caricature on a medallion. There's no hint of any digit of the coin's date. On the obverse the top portion of the buffalo's head is flat, making it look like an alien's brain. It's as if half of the raised surface of each side has been polished-away. I may experiment to see if I can pop-out the coins and replaced them with some that actually still look like authentic buffalo nickels.

    This was certainly worth its price for the amount of good looks it adds. The only reason I'm shorting it its fifth star is that the nickels on each grip were so polished-down that a heckuva lot of detail (including all digits of the year of minting) got obliterated.

    For a production product, the Indian Head/Buffalo revolver grip is great. The wood grain is nicely brought out it the finish process. The nickel is well set in its recessed position. Final finish on the wood is very well done. I may just buy another
