This cylinder can ONLY be used in a 9-shot Rough Rider. If you have a 6-shot Rough Rider you CANNOT drop in the cylinder. The timing will be off due to the internal design changes.

my gun is a 6 shot, so I was not able to use the 9 shot(sent it back). It looks very good, but you must have a 9 shot gun.

Ordered 2 of these. I bought a speed loader pouch to put on my belt. With these 2 extra cylinders loaded, swapping them out is quicker than reloading. More plinking in less time. Couldn't pass up the price. Shipping was quick. Exactly match the original cylinder.
