How perfect!
Wow!!! When I saw this case I couldn't get my credit card out fast enough. I am an "old school" Idaho high country cowboy and Lonesome Dove is one of my favorite all time movies (well series, seems how it was created to be a TV miniseries) and when I received it my boy said that he hasn't seen me smile like that in years. I love it, and recommend it to anyone, in fact I posted it on Facebook and I know of at least 8 friends/family members who asked me all about it and told them where they could get theirs and I've started seeing other pics of it on their FB page. Very nice looking. Firearm fits well. Wood is not very substantial. Probably will not survive any abuse. Mostly for show and not protection.

Hat Creek Cedar Box
I'm a big Lonesome Dove fan and was really happy to find this box. I'ts a good (not great) quality item that is definitely worth the cost. I covered my box with semi-gloss urethane and think it improved the look and protected the wood surface.
