Traditional cedar box with clear acrylic top and precut black foam inside. Foam protects the firearm from rolling around and being dinged or scratched by extra parts and/or cylinders. Foam is precut for the following options:

Rough Rider wood box
I bought this for a Rough Rider my dad gave me after he passed away in september 2023 of cancer, I wanted to perserve it and display it on my desk. The case looks great and the foam is perectly cut out for 6" pistol, it looks great on my desk where I can look at it to remember my dad.

Quality
The quality of these boxes could be a little better. That being said I have several of these for my customized Heritage revolvers it’s a unique way to display your favorite ones after all the customization of the Heritage revolvers is half the fun.

Good display case
Very nice basic display case or box. Black foam cut out will fit a 6.5 in Heritage Revolver plus an extra cylinder or two. I recut the black foam so my 4.75 in Heritage Rough Rider revolver to fit and look good. If you want the best looking display box, go ahead and stain the wood. Staining and varnishing puts the display box at a whole another level. I'm very happy with the box and will be ordering one or two more for my other Rough Rider pistols.

Heritage Rough Rider Box
Well built and cutouts were done well. One improvement would have been to stain the box, which I did and improved the appearance greatly.

DISPLAY BOX
This is a great display case for your Heritage Rough Rider revolver. I have purchased two of these and the quality is good. Can’t go wrong with this. Remember that if you have small children this case is not secure unless you put a different latch with a lock.
