My Rancher Hammer Spring broke before I even had a chance to fire it for the first time. since no one in 'customer service' would reply to my request for a replacement, I bought the trigger-frame & spring assy, and repaired it myself. Then I bought spare pistol springs, as the Rancher spring is just a cut-down version of this one. I cut one down myself, and repaired my original as well. Thankfully I know more about their products than 'customer service' does. I feel bad for those customers that do not.

Just what I needed

Semms well made and priced fairly.

Began having misfires, read reviews, ordered the smallbore hammer mainspring and the grip pin. No more misfires. By the way, the original grip pin would not go into the new mainspring just like other reviewers stated. Original mainspring should have lasted many years. Hopefully the replacement spring will last many years.

It was a good fix no problems now

I had to buy this because my factory spring was junk Taurus needs to do better heritage as it's own company was so much better but now Taurus owns them the quality is in the toilet. But the replacement spring is great quality. I've owned rough riders in the past and never had a issue but now Taurus bought them and everything went down hill.
